Working with Google Photos

Hopefully a quick blog and some detailed instructions in linked pages to get you up and running sharing your photos to club members on Google Photos.

Why use Google Photos?

• It is a private service
• It allows us to share images throughout the month, not just at meetings
• It helps us prepare for our meetings
• It allows the non Apple users to share their photos.

What do you need to Do?

• You need a Google account
• User ID,
• Password
• Optional - Associated Phone Number (in case you lose password and to improve sharing communications.

If you already have a gmail email account then that is your Google ID.

How to Do it

Fortunately, Google Photos is very easy to use although the initial setting up of an account is complicated. It is worth persevering as we will finally be able to share images and learn from them.
