Club Assignments December and Early 2023
November Assignment - Through the Window
November's assignment was an unfortunate failure as no-one was able to submit any photographs. I had thought it would be a convenient topic as we all have big windows with things happening outside them. I have submitted a couple of images but have yet to make a nighttime trip to Corsham with my camera which I think we will provide good opportunities to photo through shop windows.

December Assignment - Your Best of 2022
TV, radio and newspapers will soon be doing their reviews of 2022, if they have not done so already. So that is what I thought we would do as this month's assignment. Look back through the photos you have taken this year and select the 4 you believe are the best. They can be any photos and do not have to have been taken as part of a previous assignment, but it is OK if they have. They can be your favourite due to the memory they contain or because of their photographic merit. Please upload your images to the Club library on Google Photos if you are able to or share them with me by any other way (including Apple shared folders or eMail), include a note/comment for each image saying what you like about it and why it is one of your favourites.
2023 (Early) Assignment - Freestyle
For at least the first 3 months of next year the club assignment will be "anything you like", freestyle. I may offer seasonal suggestions but the ultimate decision of what you photograph and how you do it will be yours. The aim is for us all to take more photos as the year progresses so the only restriction is that it/they will have to have been taken within the month preceding each meeting. Each member is invited to submit between 1 and 4 images on any subject.
May I suggest therefore that your NewYear resolution for 2023 is to take and share at least 1 quality photograph each month. Who knows we might all be able to produce a calendar for next year!
