Storm cloud passing over, exposure and colour temperature adjusted in post processing

Having only set the tree and sky assignment yesterday, I wonder how many saw the beautiful warm light as a storm cloud passed over Wadswick Green this evening around 5pm.  I was just returning from a dog walk and immediately grabbed my iPhone.  I wish I had had my DSLR, and possibly a tripod.

The lighting conditions were difficult; dark storm clouds casing a shadow in the foreground while the low sun illuminated the mid ground.  In this shot, I dragged the exposure down  but the middle area trees are still verging on over exposure.  A light halo above the trees, as in this shot, usually indicates over manipulation and masking but in this case the shot is as taken except for cropping into a square format.
This is another case where the iPhones automatic HDR setting refused to operate.  I thought there was a clear need for it in these shots.

This shot is again as taken except for cropping.  Again I wish I had been able to use exposure bracketing on my DSLR to capture the full dynamic range.
The broad expanse of cloud cried out for a panoramic shot, and that is far easier on the iPhone than a DSLR!
A panoramic image taken with the iPhone 13, still a bit dark in the foreground.
