People Assignment Update

Looking at the images you have shared with me, this month's assignment seems to have been a difficult one as all the images I have seen (less one) were taken before this month.  Please feel free to pull images from your portfolio so we can examine and comment on them but we do seem to have missed the main objective of encouraging us all to take more pictures..  Perhaps we need to extend the assignment into September and stipulate "new pictures only".  We can discuss on Thursday!  But clearly, as I suspected, we all have a hang up about walking around and snapping photos of people.

But we have managed to get some images going onto Google Photos.

 GooglePhotos Successes (So Far)

As of this afternoon, 3 club members have managed to load assignment photos to GooglePhotos, though not necessarily as I had intended.  I had hoped you would upload into your own GooglePhotos store and then share your images but 2 of the succeses uploaded into my store.

26 years in the Army (and many more training dogs!) has taught me to trust the age old military strategy -   "Reinforce Success".  So with that in mind let's change direction and encourage that approach.  Here are instructions for how to upload into my GooglePhotos account!

How to Upload your Photos into My GooglePhotos account

I have created a shared album that anyone with the correct link can read and upload phots to.  To upload assignment photos - Click this link.

This will open a web page in an internet browser; what you see will depend on what browser and what device you are using.  The following are some examples:

On Windows PC click on icon in top right.  Hover over to find the right one, the icon is a graphic with a plus sign

On the iPad and iPhone it is bit clearer - Click where it says - "add photos"

You should then be taken to your photos app where you can select the photos you want to upload.

Your photos will then be marked with your name and will be visible to everyone who has that link.  I will use the same library for every month's assignment.
