Artificial Intelligence Helps Find Our Photographs

How often do you scroll back and forward on your phone in search of a specific photograph you think you took on a particular date.  SLR camera users have the opportunity to tag photographs on the computers to aid searches but the same functionality is difficult on mobile devices (or at least on the Apple variety).
These mobile devices do have a search function and that seems strange if you cannot label your photos with something you can search on.
That is because they use Artificial Intelligence to identify objects in your photos for you.  For example I want to find a photograph of one of my dogs looking at the television.
I have entered the search term "television" and up pops all the photographs I have showing a television and I can choose the one I want.

The artificial intelligence can recognise people, pets and things.

Have a play and see what it can do!

This works on Apple photos and Google Photos.

Note how sensitive the results are; the top left image has been included because the screen of a service point in the restaurant has been detected in the background and identified as a television.
